Roopantar literally means “Transformation”.
Roopantar believes that by transforming lives we can build the Nation!
Nation-building is intrinsically linked to the holistic development of individuals. This involves fostering strong character, ethical conduct, and a sense of responsibility towards the nation, alongside personal growth. Quality Education, particularly one that emphasizes character building and a harmonious development of body, mind, and soul, is crucial for this process.
“Transformation” (परिवर्तन) is the heart of Roopaantar Foundation’s mission, where every action turns vulnerability into resilience. We transform barren urban landscapes/school premises into thriving, breathing new life into our eco-systems. Through Project Roopaantar, we reshape the future of underprivileged children, evolving their potential into leadership. Ultimately, our work is a commitment to a holistic metamorphosis where social equity and environmental health thrive in harmony.
At Roopantar, we believe that our role as a Civil Society Initiative is to “Bridge the Gap” and “Add the Value” in the efforts of The Government and Existing Eco-Systems. At present Roopantar Foundation is mainly working in the fields of Education and Environment.
Roopantar – Life Transforming Program:
Under this backdrop in the year 2024-25, Roopantar Foundation initiated a two-year “Transformative Quality Education Program” in around 150 Government/Private Schools for about 12,000 Under-Privileged Children of Upper Primary so that they develop their integral personality, learn 21st century life-skills, inculcate positive values in life, become world-class citizens and contribute to the Nation, Humanity and Mother Earth by sustainable living.
Life transformation is a journey of personal growth and change, often involving overcoming challenges and embracing new perspectives, it always leads to a deeper understanding of oneself and the world. Ultimately, life transformation is about becoming the best version of yourself and living with greater purpose and intention.
The results are so encouraging and response is so overwhelming that in the year 2025-26 we reached 400 Schools and 50000 children in Gujarat and other states.
Tree Plantation Drive by Roopantar: 2024-25
“Roopantar Foundation” launched and completed successfully the tree plantation drive in 2024-25 in 9 Talukas in the state. Through Scholl on Wheels with a small team of three, Samir led the drive; visited all the schools; educated children about the importance of trees in our life, motivated them to plant and protect them and provided all logistic support including good quality saplings.
